She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Chafin and Mary Slavin Chafin; and her son Darren H. Blume. She is survived by: her brother John H. Chafin (Janet); her grandchildren, Savannah Leigh Blume and Annabelle Rose Blume; and her nieces, Madeline Reneé Chafin and Cristina Crane. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
