She was predeceased by: her husband Donald George Burkhard; her sisters, Wilma McIntosh (George) of Littleton and Loretta Kozel of Leesburg; her brothers-in-law, Mary Lou and Frank Kozel; and also Marvin Marsh.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Burkhard of Athens, Donald Burkhard (Julie) of Decatur and Daryl Burkhard of Athens; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Burkhard of Washington, D. C. and Katherine Sopp (Matt) of Cleveland; her great grandchild Bennett Odette Sopp; and also Parker Sopp. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
