He is survived by: his wife Harriett Gunn; his children, Kizzy Ellison and Fred Gunn, Jr. (Renee); his stepson Matthew Daniel; his sister Louise Gunn; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy A. Cox, Margaret Davis, Joe Ann Cooper, Barbara Rittenberry, Brenda Dunn, Eugene Ellis, Robert Ellis and Richard Dunn. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
