James is survived by: children, April Jewell and James Jewell, Jr.; granddaughter Senetra Bolton; sisters, Mildred C. Watkins, Johnnie Jewell, Lera Slaton, Bertha Jewell and Joan Barnett; and brother-in-law Tommy C. Roach. James is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
