She was predeceased by: her parent Charlie H. Smith; and her husband Charles E. Cheek. She is survived by: her parent Nobie Gunter Smith; her daughters, Sharon Hamilton (Jeff) and Amy Ivey (Shannon); her grandchildren, Jonathan Hamilton, Kaylan Carter (Adam), Dylan Ivey (Marlana) and Grayson Ivey; and her great grandchildren, Devin, Addie Grace, Cohen and Abel.
