It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lolita Troyce Brown (Athens, Georgia), who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ina Ogletree and Clarence Hammond; her husband Fred William Brown; her grandson Zachary Brown Watkins; and her siblings, Marguerite Woods, Rev. Curtis Hammond, Kenneth Hammond and Wayne Hammond.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Hooper (Mike), Terri Brown Watkins (Buck) and Deborah T. Brown; her sister Juanita Porterfield; and her grandchildren, Amber Carmel Meeks (Jeffrey), Brandon Causey, Sara Causey Weeks (Chris), Dan Hooper (Edith) and Trenton Hooper. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
