She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Christian; and her sister Thelma J. Wickenheiser of Ephrata. She is survived by: her parents, Axel Victor Johnson and Anna Margaret Wren; her sister Doris V. Herr (Robert) of Gloucester, Virginia; her children, Sam A. Christian (Penny) of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Eileen C. Hughes (Greg Hughes) of Naples, FL and Ellen C. Huth (Alan) of Brunswick, GA; and her grandchildren, Blair, Amanda Christian, Geoffrey, Jeremy, Caitlin Hughes, Amy Zolkowski, Brian Huth and Megan Stehr.
