She is survived by: her parents, Ysabel Portillo and Teresa Portillo; her husband Jose Pena; her siblings, Jesse Portillo and Stella Martinez; and her children, Jerry Bell (Bonnie), Jim Bell (Cookie), Victoria Reeves (Bill), Kathy Guffey (Clint) and Binny Schroeder (Jim). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Catholic Oasis Organization.
