It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin J. Heider (Athens, Georgia), who passed away on June 3, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Klosterman (John) of Columbia, SC and James Heider (Delaine) of Royston, GA; his grandchildren, Jennifer Klosterman Dent, Andrew Klosterman, Christopher Heider, Jacob Heider and Justin Rollins; and his sister Charlotte Joop of Mahomet, IL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia or Kindred Hospice.
