He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Goodson of Athens; his children, Richard Glenn Goodson Jr (Loretta Lynn Goodson) of Athens and Ronald Gary Goodson (Rebekah Goodson) of Winterville; his grandchildren, Audrey Nicole Goodson Kingo (Hasa Kingo), Amber Lynn Goodson Knight (Greg Knight), Jesse Elizabeth Goodson and Joel Ethan Goodson; and his great grandchildren, Aden Clark, Wyatt Knight, Jay Kingo and Lilah Knight.
