He is survived by: his parent Ora Harris Gerald; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Elizabeth Boggs Berryman, Cortney Elizabeth Boggs Maffett, Delaney Elizabeth Cook, Nealie Elizabeth Cook, Taylor Elizabeth Hodge and Mark Alan; his great grandchildren, Scarlett Elizabeth Berryman, Saydie Elizabeth Berryman and Sawyer Elizabeth Berryman; his brother Elwood L. Gerald (Chris) of Columbia, SC; his friend Norman McGlohon (Bobbie) of Athens, GA.; and also, Hodge Jr. and Burnice Gerald (Barbara Wayne) of Tabor City, NC. He is also survived by his wife, three daughters and sons in law.
