She was predeceased by: her parents, Rae Gold and Alex Teper; her husbands, Sam Beckman and Seymour Zimmerman; and her daughter Arlene Cohen (late Bryan Cohen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Elisa Zimmerman and Jan Zimmerman; her grandsons, Zehner Evans, Logan Cohen (Jessica) and Zachary Cohen (Saira); and her great grandchildren, Sam, Zain, Laurel, Hazel, Amina and Aydin.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crest Lawn Memorial Park (2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends and loved ones to honor Anita's memory by sharing kindness with others—just as she always did.
