She is survived by: her husband George Hardnett; her children, Sharon Hardnett (Alicia) and Eric Hardnett (Tangee); her grandchildren, Eric Hardnett, Jr. and Myosha Westbrooks; her siblings, Eris Swanson, Jessie Freeman, Earl Freeman, Emmanual Freeman and Vernon Hardy; her goddaughter Melissa Carmichael; her aunts, Anne, Shirley and Lisa; and her godmother Rita Stevens.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (80 Walnut St SW, Atlanta, GA 30314). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
