With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn O. Butts Anthony of Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles Anthony, Jr., Michael Anthony, Gary Anthony and Clayton Anthony; her grandchildren, Rodrick, Cory, Rico, D'Juan, Anthony, Gary, Jr., Marcus and Sade; her siblings, JoAnn Watts, Lawrence Butts, Freddie Butts and Johnny Booker; her close friend Marian Fallen; and her goddaughter Sameale Sorrells. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
