He is survived by: his parents, Carl Long and Kathleen Ray Jefferson Long; his son David Nicholas Long; his grandson Nick; and also, Mike Long, Regina Long, Robert "Bobby", Karen Long, Glenn Long and Ivonne Long. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
