She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Thomas Jefferson Rooks and Floye Cartwright Rooks; her children, Phyllis Wood Mann (Ben) of Pickens, SC, Wally Wood and Mike Wood of Raleigh, NC.; her husband Wallace Eugene Wood; her former life partner Ralph Stuart Jones; her daughter Annette Wood Eidson; and her siblings, Estelle Rooks Wynn, Thomas Milton Rooks, Ruth Rooks Lamar and Robert Benjamin Rooks. She was also cherished by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
