Though Mary Brown may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband E. Austin Hinely; and her brother Walter U. Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Hannah Tiegreen (Chris); her grandsons, Timothy, Jonathan (Mattie) and Christopher; and her sister-in-law Dr. Lynda Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Redeemer Friends of Music program or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for research on myxofibrosarcoma.
