We bid farewell to Rodney Hollingsworth Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 22, 2025 at the age of 65. Rodney touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Hollingsworth III (Dyami Ali Bey), Tatyana Pervukhina (Tanya), Crystal Hollingsworth-Thatch (LaDariah D.) and Maliyah Worthy; his grandchildren, Yellissauetta Hollingsworth Pervukhina and Amir Hollingsworth Pervukhina; his siblings, William Hollingsworth and Phyllis Walton; and his stepmother Quida Hollingsworth. He is also survived by other loving relatives, extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary (1876 2nd Ave, Decatur, GA 30032).
