It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Blackwell of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Morgan and Janet Morgan; her brother Gerald Morgan; her husband Lonnie Edward Blackwell; and her son Ryan Edward Blackwell.
She is survived by: her sister Sharon Norris (Albert); her children, Troy Buchanan (Carla), Michelle Blackwell (Kelley) and Brandi Blackburn (Brooks); her grandchildren, Brent Buchanan, Tyler Jarrell, Miranda McVean, Ashleigh Blackwell, Benjamin, Lillian Blackburn and McKenzie Blackwell; her friends, Fran Shelton and Keith Mercer; and her pet Sassy.
