She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Ray Newby; her parents, Robert H. Smith and Myra B. Smith; and her son Ray Hamilton Newby. She is survived by: her daughter Holly Fox (Chris); her grandchildren, Christian Fox, Anna Grace Fox and Austin Fox; her brothers, Robert H. Smith (Cindy) and Charles H. Smith (Debbie); her sister-in-law Clara Sharpton (Jay); and her niece Julie McCants.
