She was predeceased by: her husband John Santford Hammett I; and her siblings, Earl Kennedy, Larry Kennedy and Janie "Boots" Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Elissa Peters, John S. Hammett, II, Sean P. Hammett (Christel) and Matthew R. Hammett (Debbie); her grandchildren, Christy Quante (Chris), Nathan DeLaney, Sheila DeLaney, Dana Wicker (Adam), Abby Smith (Trevor), Heather Brook MacDonald, Christopher Hammett, Noah Hammett, Joseph Hammett and Zechariah Hammett; her great grandchildren, Andre Acevedo, Eli Acevedo, Dante Acevedo, Gabriel Quante, Ethan Quante, Asher Quante, Jonathan Wicker, Ethan Wicker, Conner Wicker, Paxton Smith, Craig MacDonald and Scottie MacDonald; and her siblings, Barbara Reese, James Kennedy and Angie Hathaway (Doug). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
