With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill S. Bennett of Augusta, Georgia, born in Screven, Georgia, who passed away on December 11, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Celeste Bowen Bennett; his parents, Leona Crews Bennett and Robert Bennett; his son Don Bennett; his sisters-in-law, Connie Bennett, Vivian Bennett and Sarah Bennett; his siblings, Cynthia Tillman, Robert D. Bennett and Lovett Bennett, Sr.; and his half-sisters, Thelma Davis, Elma Irwin and Birdie Harvey.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Bennett Thigpen (Phillip); his grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Levengood (Matt Dodgen), Lance Christopher Thigpen and Chad Bennett; his great grandchild Landon Bill Levengood; his brothers, Donnie L. Bennett and Chesley Bennett; and his niece Priscilla Goodin.
