It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Brassell Halvorsen (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her former husband John Brassell, Sr. (Buddy); her children, John L. Brassell (Michelle), Mark Halvorsen (Lyndi) and Karen Smith; and her stepchildren, Kristy Lyon (Bill), Lindy Price (Brian) and Rick Halvorsen (Lauren). She is also survived by her husband, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Billie Brassell Halvorsen Legacy Scholarship at Augusta Christian Schools.
