She was predeceased by: her parents, Frieda Strickland and Lan Strickland; her siblings, William "Bill" Strickland, Naomi Waters and Johnnie Burkhalter; and her brothers-in-law, Billy G. Johnson, Sr. and Beach Stanfield.
She is survived by: her sister Wylene Johnson Judy Stanfield of Glennville, Georgia; and her sisters-in-law, Gayle Strickland of Merritt Island, Best Friend of Florida and Jean Muller (Joyce Scott). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
