He is survived by: his parents, Ollie Lankford and Patsey Prather Lankford; his daughter Amanda Lyne Ellis (Mark); his grandchildren, Dallas and Jayden; and his brothers, Brian Lankford and Brent Lankford.

The family requests that donations be made in Mr. Lankford's memory to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.
