He is survived by: his children, William Wesley Mears and Susan Elizabeth Mears; his grandchildren, William Adli Mears and Abigail Simone Mears; his close friend Faye Walker; his siblings, Charles Francis Mears, III, Christa Eremito (Tommy) and Cheri Yaeger (Ted); his aunt Billie Easler Key; and his uncle Frank Mears. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
