It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clare Read of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Elwood "Woody" Read; her daughters, Clare Heffner (Carl, Jr.) and Alison Read; her grandchildren, Carl Heffner III (Karen), Valerie Heffner and Angelica Thraikill; her great grandchildren, Ian Pusey, Alexander Heffner, Gavin Pusey, Theodore Heffner and Reagan Heffner; and her sister Nancy Armstrong.
