She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Cody; her parents, David Skinnell and Corrie Skinnell of Clover, S. C.; and her siblings, Delitha Barker, Emmett Skinnell and Eugene Skinnell.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol McAlister; her son-in-law Bob McAlister of Columbia; her granddaughter Denise Pendarvis-Harrell (Mike); her great grandchildren, Brittany Cox (Josh), Taylor Stevens, Laken Blackwell, Chase Blackwell and Maddux Harrell; her great great grandchildren, Emory Blythe Cox and Ella James Cox; her siblings, June Bumgarner of Canton, Paul Skinnell (Sandra) of Clover, Ashby Skinnell of Clover and Jean Guldenschuh; Chuck Guldenschuh and LaTasha Foreman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
