He was predeceased by: his former wife Cissy Peters Cain; his wife Doris Elaine Rutti Cain; his son Scott Cain; and his brother Richard Cain. He is survived by: his daughter Kim Cain; his grandchildren, William Cain (Allison), Thomas Cain, Catherine Cain, Jacob Cain and Charlotte Cain; his great grandchild Lilah Cain; his close friend Cherry Long-McDeermond; and his pet Allie.
