Don Owen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Don Owen formerly of Augusta, Georgia, born in Tipton, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Whisler and Dorothy Whisler (Phares); his wife Elizabeth Ann Overdorf; his daughters, Nancy Lynn Ripberger and Mary Jane Taylor (Brian); his grandchildren, Sarah Henry, Kristin Day (Scott), Carey Phifer (Trevor), Abby Crume (John) and Daniel Taylor (Elizabeth Thorndyke); his sister Rosemary Wainscott; his daughter Donna Ann Whisler; and his sister Barbara Conaway. He was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Don's honor may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 200 W. Jefferson Street, Tipton, Indiana, 46072.
