She was predeceased by: her parents, Harve Quarles and Maggie Quarles; her husband Reuben D. Carver Sr.; her son Randy Carver; her siblings, Kinzel Quarles and Inez Hensley; and her grandchildren, Reuben III and Kerry Carver.

She is survived by: her sons, Doug Jr., Gerald (Dell) and Wayne.
