She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clanton and Jessie Brannen Clanton. She is survived by: her husband Howell Black; her daughter Sandra Black McCoy (Addison "Tripp") of Vance; her siblings, Henrietta Walker (Harvey) of Anderson and Charles Clanton (Peggy) of Lexington, S. C.; and her sister-in-law Rheta Woodard of Barnwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
