She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph Penny, Sr.; and her parents, James South and Elizabeth South. She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy Gambrell (Robert) and Tina Penny; her grandchildren, Grace Gambrell and Robert Clayton Gambrell, Jr.; her stepchildren, Joseph Penny, Jr., Teresa Beach, Christina Breece and John Penny; and her husband Joe. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In light of the recent Covid outbreak, wearing a mask is strongly encouraged.
