He was predeceased by: his grandson Jackson Mauldin; his brother-in-law Bill Grant; and his mother-in-law Willene Grant. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Ashley Jones and Christopher Eakin Jones; his wife Anna Grant Jones; his grandson Brian Jones Mauldin; his parents, Ann Williams and Claude Jones; his brother David Jones; his sister-in-law Laurie Jones; his nephew Josh Cole; his daughter Ashley Mauldin; his son-in-law Brian Mauldin; his grandson Jones Mauldin; his sister-in-law Melissa; his great-niece Katie Grant Cobo; his nephew Ryan Cobo; his great-niece Remy Kate Cobo; his niece Elizabeth Grant Barry; and his nephew Jacob Barry. He is also survived by grandparents, a strong, smart mother, a musically-talented father.
In his memory, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Elberton, the Elbert Memorial Hospital Foundation or the American Heart Association.
