We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2021, George Brooks Jr. of Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Brooks; his daughters, Cheryl Dukes Jr. (Melvin), Felecia Henderson (Bernard) and Valarie Brooks; his sisters, Louise Prather and Alice Parks (Thomas); his sister-in-law Kathleen Dukes; his grandsons, Melvin Dukes (ShaRon), Jonathan Dukes (Shakayla), Victor Dukes (Anna) and Stephen Dukes; his great grandchildren, Shaelynn Dukes, Kyrie Dukes and Kaleb Dukes; and his friends, Dorothy Gilmore, Delores Gilmore and Rhonda Daniels (Dexter). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
There will be a viewing on Friday from 1-5 p. m. Please continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
