She was predeceased by: her son Jabbar Reese; and her siblings, William Stratton, Bernice Stewart, Betty Hill, Estell Arnold and Rosie Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Reese of Lansing, MI, Lonnie Reese (Girlinda) of Jacksonville, FL, Melisa Givens of Trenton, SC and Charlena Walker of Arlington, TX; and her sister Birdie Stratton of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grand children.
