He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Clifton Askew, Jr. and Louise King Askew. He is survived by: his wife Emily Birt Askew; his children, Elizabeth Askew Baird of Augusta and Isaac Clifton Askew, IV; his son-in-law Jack Short Norton of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Nolan Dudley Baird, III, Claire Elizabeth Baird, Hugh Frampton Baird, Edward Clifton Askew-Norton and William Jack Askew-Norton; his brother Carlton King Askew (Mary Ann); his siblings-in-law, Bettye Lee Birt and Robert Hugh Birt (Gayle); and his caregiver Mike.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westover Memorial Park (2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904).
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Extension, Augusta, Georgia 30909, or to a charity of one's choice.
