He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Hutcherson and Martha Pearl Taylor; his sons, Jackie Marquiese Crooks and Jamar Vashon Crooks; and his brother-in-law James Phillip Samuel.
He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Russell Samuel of Augusta, GA and Carrie Hartsfield (Malcolm); his nieces, Colisha Samuel of Augusta, GA. and Nakita Fleming; his great-nephews, Justin Fleming and Tyler Ryan; his friend Angela Maybin; his cousins, Deacon Willie Hutcherson, Deacon Tony Dudley and Dell Dudley Williams; and his friends, Deacon Randy Heller and Melissa Hare. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
