It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bennett Jr. of Augusta, Georgia, born in Perry, Georgia, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Bennett Sr. and Ernestine Jones Bennett. He is survived by: his spouse Jefiner; his children, Ansley Bennett, Courtney Ward and Reed Bennett (Katie); his brother Jeffery Bennett (Sheila); his nephews, Rich Bennett and Burt Bennett (Beth); and his grandchildren, Ryder, Banks, Hailey, Addison, Caroline, Willow and Radko.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an educational fund for Jimmy's grandchildren that will soon be established.
