He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Doyle and Annie Wall Cobb; his former wife Betty Jean Hamby Cobb; and his son Kenneth Cobb. He is survived by: his wife Della Braddock Cobb; his children, James Cobb, Jr., Ty Cobb, Richard Cobb, Alex Cobb, Mark Cobb, John Cobb, Denise Yeater, Sandra Spencer and Brenda Cobb; his brother Larry Cobb; and his stepdaughters, Pam Williams and Trish Bratton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
