He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Drake and Mary Drake (McGahee); his wife Linda Tudor Drake; his son John D. Drake Jr. Travis E. (Michelle); his grandchildren, John David Drake III, Abbie Drake Gurley (Carson) and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Drake; and his siblings, Shirley Hosgood (Jim), Brenda Kilpatrick (Roy), Ronald Drake (Teresa) and Patricia Dent (Steve).
