It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Jackson of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on December 7, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Sturgis, Chiquita Jackson, Joseph Jackson (Tamela) and Vincent Jackson (Marcia); and his sisters, Janice Gordon (Eugene), Johnnie J. Bonner and Mary Jackson Ferrell. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
