She was predeceased by: her parents, Aiken Sanders and Kathryn "Kitty" Sanders; and her sister Mary S. Bowers. She is survived by: her husband Lynn; her daughters, Kimberlyn Gunn (Greg) and Ashlyn Horney; her grandchildren, Callan Gunn and Krislyn Gunn; and her brother Cecil A. "Sandy" Sanders, Jr..

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, Augusta, GA or National Hills Baptist Church, Augusta, GA.
