It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Poteet Jr. (Augusta, Georgia), born in Hephzibah, Georgia, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Dean Poteet and Mary Snell Poteet. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Poteet; his sons, Trey Poteet (Heather) and Andrew Poteet; his grandchildren, Sadie, Eli, Jaycie, Daniel and Jake; his siblings, Mary Ann Owens (Billy) and Joe Poteet (Melody); and his nephew Brad Poteet (Kelli).
