She was predeceased by: her husbands, Tyler Godfrey and Neal Lawler; her son Larry Godfrey; and her grandson Brett Godfrey. She is survived by: her children, Pat Hickson (Jimmy) and Gregg Godfrey (Elaine); and her daughter-in-law Carol Taylor. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation in memory of Brett Godfrey.
