He was predeceased by: his mother Lola Virginia Toy Roberts; his children, Elizabeth Ann Knight and David Lee Clements; and his brother Gene Clements. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Clements; his son Marion L. Clements, III; his wife Alison of Chadds Ford, PA; his children-in-law, Victoria Clements of Augusta, GA and Charles Knight of Winnsboro, SC; his grandchildren, MaryAnn Inabinet, Katrina Clements Brown of Augusta, GA, Brandon Clements of Augusta, GA and Danielle Clements of Montgomery, AL; his great grandchildren, Riley, Jasmine, Jordan Brown, Nathaniel Clements and Gabriella Clements; and his sisters, Sharon Peck (Gary), Shirley Johnson (Hubert) and Shielia Costa (Gregory).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 483 Elm St., Lincolnton, GA, 30817.
