With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Johnson Stone of Kline, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackie Stone Poteet and Walter Stone. He is survived by: his son Brayden Stone; his stepsons, Brian and Dewayne Gray; his girlfriend Theresa Rhodes; his girlfriend's children, Valerie Baldree and Andrew Baldree; his grandchildren, Isabel Smith and Donald Paul Smith Jr.; his sister Marcy Stone Billings (Kevin); his sibling's children, Melissa Kate Strickland (Jesse), Kyle Evans (Kelli), Morgan Tucker (Logan), Molly Ketusky (Jonathan) and Ryan Billings; and his aunt Charlotte Frederick (Don).
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
