It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary C. Rueter of Augusta, Georgia, born in Millen, Georgia, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Thomas and Louise Parker Perryman; her siblings, Herman Perryman and Connie Perryman Brannen; and her grandparents, Horace W., Ophelia Dickey Parker and Susie Rabitsch Perryman.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce W. Rueter; her daughters, Angela Norell Henderson of Sardis, GA, Cynthia Norell (Duane) of Metter, GA and Jennifer Norell Reeves of Augusta, GA; her siblings, Dorothy P. Lee of Dublin, GA, Betty Jean Burke (Steve) of Millen, GA, Nathan Perryman (Vickie) of Sylvania, GA, Janelle Helton (Jim) of Demorest, GA and Pamela Perryman of Midway, GA.; her grandchildren, Luke Waters, Lauren Waters of Savannah, GA, Jacob Habersham of Sardis, GA and Zachary Bishop of Metter, GA; her great grandchildren, Savannah Cowart of Grovetown, GA, Pierce Merier of Millen, GA, James, Rose and Thomas Whitehead of Midville, GA.; her grandson Jesemy Whitehead; and her nephews, Ronnie Perryman, Scott Lee and Kyle Mixon.
COVID protocols will be in place for the visitation, service and burial.
