With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Gaston of Augusta, Georgia, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Pressly Muse; her husband James Bostwick Gaston, Jr. of Greenville, SC; and her siblings, Joseph Muse, Jr. and Marguerite I. Powell. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Betty" Snellings (Bill) of Sea Island, GA and George Muse Gaston of Middlebrook, VA; her grandson William R. Snellings, III (Kacie) of Charlottesville, VA; and her sons, Ford, Sam, Henry, Lilibet Snellings Kyte (Peter) of Richmond, VA and Peter Jr..
