It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lamie (Augusta, Georgia), born in Chatham, Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Tim Lamie; her husband Ralph Lamie; her parents, Richard McGhee and Virginia McGhee; and her siblings, Todd McGhee, James McGhee, Florence McGhee and Margaret McGhee.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Lamie (Debbie) of Riceville, TN and Rosie Salter (Robert) of Waynesboro, GA; her brother Jack McGhee (Brenda) of Max Meadows, VA; her siblings-in-law, Mack Lamie (Dolly) of Saltville, VA, Shirley Jackson of Bristol, TN and Carol McGhee of Saltville, VA; and her daughter-in-law Edna Reddick of Augusta, GA. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Old Fellas Animal Rescue in Burke County, GA in lieu of flowers.
